Tour From Marrakech 13 Days

On the first day of the 13 Days Tour From Marrakech, we pick you up from the airport and transfer you to a hotel/Riad.

In the morning, we leave Marrakech towards Ouarzazate. The Tour From Marrakech 13 Days  journey will go through the High Atlas Mountains and the fascinating Tizi N’Tichka pass which is 2260 over the Atlas Mountains. During this day, you will have the chance to stop for taking pictures and enjoying the offered views. Then, we will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. It is one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage where many Hollywood moves were filmed such as Gladiator and Game of throne. After exploring this stunning site and having village Ait Ben Haddou village, we continue our journey to Ouarzazate. Overnight at a hotel or Riad in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Ouarzazate and drive to the Valley of Roses. On the way, we will stop to visit Skoura’s palm groves and Kasbah Ameridil. The Valley of Roses is located in Kalaa M’Gouna and famous for the Festival of Roses that is held yearly in March. Then, we drive to visit nomads’ families in Boutaghrar. After lunch, the day continues to Dades Gorge where you will see the wonderful views and the amazing Rock formation The Monkey Toes. Overnight is at a traditional Berber house (dinner/breakfast).

Our journey begins with driving to Tinghir. Afterwards, we head to visit Todra Valley where you will enjoy walking through high and narrow cliffs. It is one of the places that rock-climbers prefer. After having lunch in Tinjdad, we make our way to Merzouga. After sipping a Moroccan mint tea, you will experience a camel trek to Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Overnight and dinner will be at a Berber tent.

The program of this day of the tour from marrakech will be to explore the desert and its surrounding areas. After going off-roading to explore Merzouga and crossing Paris-Dakar Rally’s track, we will enjoy a visit to locals and observe how they extract fossils. Then, we visit nomad, who still take tents as a home, and share a glass of Moroccan mint tea. Khamlia village is our next place. This village is ancient and cultural. You will have a chance to listen to Gnawa Music style. For lunch, you will try Berber Pizza (Medfouna). After that, you will be back to the hotel in Merzouga. Overnight and breakfast at the hotel.

After a great experience exploring Merzouga Desert, we drive to Fes. On the way, we will travel via the majestic Tafilalet palm groves and the stunning Ziz Valley. In Midelt, there will be a break for having lunch. Then, we continue to Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains where you will visit Cedar Forest woodland and drive via Ifrane city. It is a lovely town that is nicknamed Switzerland of Morocco for its calm and beauty. Arriving Fes will be around 6 PM after a long journey traveling through amazing places.

Today will be entirely dedicated to explore the first Imperial city in Morocco. Fes is also an intellectual and spiritual center of Morocco that was founded in the 9^th century. Our visit begins with visiting Fes El Bali (the Medina). It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our journey’s program includes also visiting Al_Qarawiyyin Mosque/University (the first founded university in the world according to several scholars and UNESCO), the interesting Tanneries, Mellah Quarter and more. The day continues with taking a walk through the cultural Souks in the old Medina.

On the 8^th day, we will leave Fes and drive towards northern Morocco to visit The Blue City (Chefchaouen). Today’s program also includes visiting Meknes city. It is one of the historical and Imperial cities that Morocco offers. In Meknes, we will visit some sites such as Palais Dar El Makhzen, the giant gate Bab Mansour, Square Lahdim and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch in Meknes, we continue to visit the Roman Empire ruins Volubilis which is only 30mins away from Meknes. After a short visit to this historical and archeological site, we continue our journey with driving to Chefchouen traveling through the fascinating Rif Mountains. Overnight at a hotel/Riad in Chefchouen.

Exploring the stunning and small Chefchaouen is what we will do today. This lovely city is lovely is affected by the Spanish style and offers many places to visit including the Medina where you can enjoy walking through its blue streets and along the numerous amazing crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes. It is a city to fall in love with thanks to its beauty and surrounding Rif Mountains.

Rabat is our destination after leaving The Blue City.  We will have to travel through the Rif Mountains that offer wonderful landscapes along the way. Rabat is one of the four Imperial cities in Morocco that offer many attractions and sites to visit including the amazing Hassan Tower, Kasbah Oudayas, Kasbah Chellah and Mohamed 5 Mausoleum. These sites hold and an interesting history and offer amazing architecture. Overnight at a hotel in Rabat.

Today, we drive Casablanca where we will visit the famous and the masterpiece Hassan II Mosque. It is the most prominent site that Casablanca has to offer. This mosque is ranked as the third large Mosque in the world. Then, we talk a walk alongside Cornish Ain Diab. Afterwards, we continue to Marrakech. Overnight at a hotel/Riad in Marrakech.

Essaouira is where we will drive to visit after breakfast. Essaouira is one of the beautiful cities in Morocco. Besides having a windy beach that is an attraction for surfers around the world, it offers many other sites such as Skala Port, Kasbah Skala and the Medina (UNESCO SITE HERITAGE).

This is the last day of the tour from Marrakech. After having your breakfast, we drive you to the airport depending on your departure time where our 13 days tour from Marrakech comes to an end. Thanks for your lovely visit.
