Itinerary

DAY 1: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ GORGES – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we start our 5 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH with driving to Merzouga Desert. The road offers amazing places and landscapes including the Middle Atlas Mountains, Berber villages such as Azrou, Ifrane cityand more. There will be stop in Midelt city for lunch. Then, we continue the journey traveling through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani. After arriving Merzouga, you will check-in a hotel/Kasbah where you will be able to take a shower and sip a Moroccan mint tea.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA – DESERT ADVENTURE AND CAMEL TREKKING (FES MERZOUGA MARRAKECH TOUR)

Today’s explorative journey begins with driving throughout the lovely sand dunes of Merzouga to visit the surrounding villages and places. This includes Khamlia village which is also known as Gnawa village. It is one of the very traditional and interesting villages in Southern Morocco. Lunch will be in Khamlia village or at the hotel after driving back. After taking a break to rest at the hotel, you will be guided to experience a camel trek to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. One of the fascinating things you will admire is watching the sunset over the highest sand dunes in North Africa. Overnight and dinner under the endless stars in a traditional Berber tent.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – DADES GEORGES

Before riding camels to Merzouga, you will witness the lovely view of the sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. At the hotel, you will refresh up and have breakfast. Then, we drive to visit the wonderful Ouarzazate (Hollywood Of Africa). On the way, you will visit Todra Gorges (the highest and the narrowest in Morocco) which are one of the favorite destinations for climbers in Morocco. Before reaching Ouarzazate, we visit the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley.

DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

Today’s program will be visiting some of the wonderful sites and attractions before making our way to Marrakesh via the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka Pass. That includes the Kasbah of Taourirt, Kasbah Of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage) and the Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate. Arriving at Marrakech will be in the early evening.

DAY 5 : DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA : (FES MERZOUGA MARRAKECH TOUR)

After breakfast at the hotel, we start our day with driving towards Essaouira city. It is one of the beautiful and cultural cities in Morocco that offer many places to visit including the World Heritage Medina, the lovely and ancient Ramparts, the windy beach over the Atlantic Ocean and more. In the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech city. That’s how we shall end our 5 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH.
