Itinerary

Pick you up from the airport and transfer you to a hotel/Riad. The next day, we will start Morocco Grand Tour.

DAY 2 : MARRAKECH – RABAT

After having breakfast, the destination is Casablanca where you will visit some attractions including Hassan II Mosque. It is one of the famous and interesting architectural sites that Morocco has to offer. Afterwards, we continue to Rabat (the capital of Morocco). In Rabat, you will be guided to visit the historical Kasbah Oudayas, Hassan Tower, which was founded in 1185, and the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Then, you will head to visit Chellah Kasbah. It an ancient necropolis and Roman city. This Roman Empire site was abandoned in 1154 AD. Overnight at a hotel in Rabat.

DAY 3 : RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN

After breakfast, we drive to the lovely Chefchouen (The Blue City). It is an amazing and small city that is located in northern Morocco near the Rif Mountains. The city’s foundation was in 1471. In Checgouen, you will explore the beautiful Medina and walk through its narrow streets along its several crafts shops. Then, you will visit the Rass El Ma place. It is a nice place to relax. After that, you will be guided to the hotel.

DAY 4 : CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

Fes is where we will be heading to visit after breakfast. On the way, you will admire the wonderful landscapes that Rif Mountains along the way. Before arriving at Fes, we will visit the Roman Empire ruins (Volubilis). After a short and guided visit to this archeological site, we will continue to Fes. Overnight at a hotel in Fes.

DAY 5 : EXPLORING FES

This day of the Morocco Grand Tour will be entirely dedicated to explore the oldest and the first Imperial city in Morocco. Fes is also an intellectual and spiritual center of Morocco. Our visit begins with visiting Fes El Bali (the Medina). It is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Our journey’s program includes also visiting Al_Qarawiyyin Mosque/University (the first founded university in the world according to several scholars and UNESCO) and the interesting Tanneries. The 5th day continues with strolling trough the cultural Souks in the old Medina.

DAY 6 : FES – MERZOUGA

After our driver pick you up from your hotel, you will be driven to Merzouga Desert traveling through Ifrane city, visit Cedar Forest Woodland and crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Midelt city is where we will take for having at one of the local restaurants. Afterwards, we resume our journey to Merzouga. After reaching our destination, you will be taking a camel trek to Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Overnight and dinner will be at a Berber tent under the endless stars in the desert.

DAY 7: EXPLORING MERZOUGA

The program of today will be to explore the desert and its surrounding areas, villages and towns. After going off-roading to explore Merzouga and crossing Paris-Dakar Rally’s track, we will enjoy a visit to locals and observe how they extract fossils. Then, we visit nomad, who still take tents as a home, and share a glass of Moroccan mint tea. Khamlia village is our next place. This village is ancient and cultural. You will have a chance to listen to Gnawa Music style. For lunch, you will try Berber Pizza (Medfouna). Then, we visit the lake of Merzouga. After that, you will be back to the hotel in Mezouga. Overnight and breakfast at the hotel.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – BOUMALNE DADES

After watching lovely view of the sunrise over the desert of Merzouga, we drive to visit Todra Gorges (the highest in Morocco). Then, we continue towards Boulman Dades Tinghir. Overnight at a hotel in Boulman Dades.

DAY 9 : BOUMALNE DADES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU

Breakfast, then we drive to visit the Valley of Roses. This lovely place is famous for The Festival of Roses which is an occasion to celebrate for locals to perform the local music and dances. After that, we continue to Ouarzazate via Skoura’s oasis. Ouarzazate is also known as Hollywood Of Africa for being anattraction for film makers around the world. Near Ouarzazate, there is Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has served as a backdrop to shoot many movies including Gladiator and the TV show Game Of Thrones. Overnight at the village of Ait Ben Haddou.

DAY 10 : AIT BEN HADDOU – ESSAOUIRA

Leaving the village of Ait Ben Haddou, the destination is Essaouira. Our journey to Essaouira city goes via the amazing High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka Pass. On the way, you will enjoy the scenery view of Tizi N’Tichka and the stunning landscapes of The High Atlas Mountains along the way. Overnight at a hotel in Essaouira.

DAY 11 : EXPLORING ESSAOUIRA

Today on the Morocco grand tour, our plan is exploring the cultural Essaouira. It is a wonderful and calm city that is located on the Atlantic Ocean. It offers several sites and attractions that worth visiting including the ancient Ramparts the World Heritage Medina and the authentic port where you can have fresh seafood for lunch. Essaouira is also known for its windy beach which is an attraction for surfers around the planet. Overnight at a hotel/riad.

DAY 12 : ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH

Marrakech is where you will be driven after a couple of hours exploring Essaouira by yourself. After arriving at Marrakech, you will be transferred to your hotel/Riad where the overnight and dinner will be.

DAY 13: EXPLORING MARRAKECH

After breakfast you will explore the city of Marrakech,our driver and a licensed English local guided will meet you and take you in a guided tour to explore some of the best monuments and attraction in the city, you will be visiting the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque,You will also visit the El-Bahia Palace,The Saadian Tombs, The Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef, Djemaa El Fna Square, and the MedinaCentral Souks

Marrakech is one of the four Imperial cities in Morocco. Today, you will explore the sites and attractions that this city offers. You will have a professional guide. The program includes visiting Kotoubia Mosque, the lovely Bahia Palace, the historical Saadian Tombs, Maderasa Moulay Ben Youssef, Jamaa El Fnaa Square and the cultural Souks of the Medina. Overnight at a hotel/riad.

DAY 14 : TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

On the last day of the Morocco Grand, we will transfer you to the airport depending on your time departure.
