Itinerary

Day 1: TANGEIR – TETOUAN – CHEFCHAOUEN

The first day of our 8 days tour from Tangier, we’ll drive through the Rif mountains and Tetouan city to enjoy the views of the gorgeous mountains till we get to Chefchaouan one of the stunning villages at the feet of the Rif mountains.

Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes where you’ll spend your night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the fantastic thing about nature.

Day 2: CHEFCHAOUEN –  VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES

After a tasty breakfast in the riad, our 8 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech starts towards Volubilis crossing via Ouazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we’ll discover the Roman ruins and find out about Moroccan history.

Then we’ll drive to Meknes city (the 17th-century heritage) where we’ll stop for lunch and we will discover the historical walls of the medina, bab el Mansour and we will enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail shrine. Later in the afternoon, we head to Fes city where we are going to spend the night.

Day 3: EXPLORING FES WITH LOCAL GUIDE

Today we are going to start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and tiny streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century.

We will make sure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a beautiful panoramic view over the full Medina of Fes.

Day 4: FES –  CEDAR FOREST – MIDLET – MERZOUGA

After breakfast in your hotel, we’ll travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. you’ll be traveling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach town of Errachidia, here you’ll have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality.

Afterward, we are going to travel along Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the thanks to Erfoud (a famous fossils city) and Rissani(with its famous souk). We arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you begin your camel ride to spend an evening in the desert camp with Berber music and also sand-boarding.

Day 5: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

We get up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi before making our way back to the hotel by camels. After breakfast and shower.

Leaving the desert, we’ll drive through the Saghro mountains and we will take a brief walk through Todra Gorge before arriving in Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation. We spent an evening in Dades Gorges, in a local riad/hotel.

Day 6: DADES VALLEY- OUARZAZATE -AIT BEN HADDOU-MARRAKECH

After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. This route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs. we’ll visit the cinema city of Ouarzazate and also Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui (the UNESCO heritage site).

Then, we are going to drive across the High Atlas mountains and you will enjoy the view and attractive Berber villages along the way till we reach Marrakech where we stay overnight in a local hotel.

Day 7: EXPLORING MARRAKECH WITH LOCAL GUIDE

Continuing our 8 days desert trip from Tangier to Marrakech, we’ll start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. we are going to make sure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest. This includes the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace.

After lunch at a local restaurant near the famous square, you will walk through the souks and you’ll also buy souvenirs or enjoy the art of handicrafts. in the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the town by yourself.

Day 8: TRANSFER TO MARRAKECH AIROPORT

Today depends on your flight, you will be transferred to the airport to attend your flight which will mark the end of our 8 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
